Howard G. Schuschu Jr., 67, of Jacksonville, Florida, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008.

He was born in New York, NY on June 8, 1941 the son of Howard and Willamena (Schuman) Schuschu and had resided in Claremont most of his life.  He was employed for Bloomingdales in NJ, Heller’s Clothing Store and Communication Connection both of Claremont.

Howard was a member of the Claremont Jaycees and Rotary Club.

The surviving family includes two daughters, Pamela Bishop of Concord, MA and Kimberly DeViva of Meriden, CT; two grandchildren Grace and Phineas Bishop.

Funeral service will be held Thursday August 28, 2008 at Eleven O’clock in the South Congregational Church, 20 Church Street in Newport NH, with Rev. Roger Daley, Interim Pastor officiating. A light luncheon will follow in the Church hall.  Interment will be held at one-thirty in the afternoon in Eastman Cemetery in Sunapee.  Arrangements are with The Stringer Funeral Home 146 Broad St. Claremont.
